STRIX

STRIX — Station Management System

STRIX is designed to provide automation service to organization that operates remote stations. The system design enable among other user to:

  • Manage and control station parameter such as power, access and other critical parameters

  • Integrate equipment diagnostic and manage into one work environment

  • Integrate remote security monitoring through CCTV module

  • Manage and control E1 line connectivity (TELCO option)

Typical STRIX Set Up

STRIX Standard Modules

Remote Terminal Controller

The RTC is the heart of the system. The module is the central processing unit that manage all other modules in the system

Power Management Module

This module take care of all power management and control issue such as remote powercycle, ELCB remote re-closing, backup power status and other power related parameters crucial to station operation

Ancillary & Access Management Module

This module will handle all ancillary parameter such as Genset and Rectifier status. It will also include access management parameter such as detecting intrusion and other access issue.

Equipment Diagnostic Module

This module will be the interface to the equipment hosted in the station. The interface type between this module with the equipment shall be digital and analog input / output based on standard industrial equipment interface.

E1 Loop Back Module

This module will provide loop back functionalities for E1 (2Mbps) link. This module is mainly use by TELCO operator for their Radio Based Station (RBS) stations management.

STRIX System Advantages

Real Time Status Information

The system provides real time status information to the end user. This will maximize the productivity and improve fault recovery and rectification.

Robust Communication Network Architecture

Robust communication architecture is embedded into the system to ensure high availability of the system

Fully Web Enabled Client

A fully web enabled client is also provided as part of the solution to bring down the total cost of ownership of the system. It also eases the maintenance of the software since a standard PC having a web browser can be used to monitor the stations.

Centralized Database

The centralized database design will ensure all data can be consolidated and can be backed up any time required

Able to integrate with wide range of legacy equipment

The system also allows integration with a wide range of legacy equipment. This will save up long term investment and
